New 'Experience' Auto Wash Facility in Purcellville, VA
Project consisted of a 6,800 square foot building with dual 65 foot automated wash tunnels, a self service detail center, and associated office space. Site work included demolition of pre-existing structure and installation of site utilities, curb and gutter, concrete pavement, and stone retaining walls.
New Dormitory at Mount Vernon Campus of The George Washington University
Project consisted of a seven story 132,000 square foot building with 80 residential suites, a cafeteria with cooking kitchen, recording studio, dance studio, art studio, performance theatre, music practice rooms, fitness center, office spaces, and multipurpose spaces. Site work included demolition of pre-existing dormitory facility, earthwork excavation and associated sheeting, shoring & underpinning requirements. Project achieved LEED Gold certification.
New Condominium/Apartment Building in Tysons Corner, VA
Project included an eight-story 200,000 square foot building with 131 residential units and associated balconies, rooftop pool and sun terrace, athletic club, fitness center, grocery store, coffee shop, a three level underground parking garage and associated site improvements.
New Apartment Building in Arlington, VA
Project consisted of a twelve-story, 368-unit luxury apartment complex with an exterior facade of brick, architectural CMU, pre-cast concrete, EIFS, composite metal panels, and granite. Building features included a 5-story open air breezeway with ornate terrazzo flooring and EIFS ceiling. Amenity spaces included a rooftop pool and spa with adjoining party room and theatre, a ground floor fitness room, public conference room, and Internet café. Building included a three level underground parking garage. Project won a Washington Building Congress Craftsmanship Award.
Multiphase Middle School Addition & Renovation in Manassas Park, VA
Project included a 120,000 square foot academic addition, a 15,000 square foot athletic gymnasium, a 20,000 square foot renovation of former vocational space into a wrestling practice facility & class room space, a 3,000 square foot maintenance building, and associated site development. Project won Merit Award for Renovation/Addition 6th thru 12th grade - Virginia Educational Facility Planners, Honor Award for Excellence - Central Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (CV-AIA), and Citation of Excellence for Outstanding Education Facility Design.
New Police Station for the City of Manassas Park, VA
Project entailed construction of a 22,000 square foot building with office space and an indoor gun practice firing range. Site work included earthwork, curb and gutter, sidewalk, asphalt paving, site utilities, retaining walls, landscaping, and fencing.
New Fire Station for the City of Manassas Park, VA
Project entailed construction of a 13,000 square foot building with office space, cooking kitchen, sleeping quarters, and vehicle and equipment bays. Site work included sidewalks, paving, fencing, retaining walls, landscaping, signalization, and site utilities with associated tie-ins in adjacent public right-of-ways.
Addition to Existing High School in Manassas Park, VA
Project included construction a 41,000 square foot building addition, development of two new athletic fields, renovation activities at the middle school located on campus, and site improvements associated with the addition.
Historical Renovation of the Clarke County Courthouse in Berryville, VA
Project included renovation of 4,000 square foot building, the addition of an elevator system, and site utility upgrades and relocations.
Summer Renovations for Manassas Park City Schools in Manassas Park, VA
Projects included construction of two computer labs at Manassas Park Middle School from existing space, renovation of a lobby and office at Manassas Park Elementary School, upgrading of HVAC system at Manassas Park School Board Office, & renovations of various spaces at Manassas Park Middle School.
New Commercial Office Building in Winchester, VA
Project entailed 60,000 square foot base building and associated site improvements and fit-out of three separate tenant spaces within base building including a law office, an Open MRI suite, and the corporate headquarters for The Trex Company.
New Kindergarten through 3rd Grade Elementary School in Manassas Park, VA
Project included a 120,000 square foot educational building, administration wing, cooking kitchen, commons area, core facilities and associated site improvements. Project won Honor Awards from Central Virginia Chapter of the AIA, Virginia Society of the AIA, Virginia School Boards Association and The James River Green Building Council. Also won Citation of Excellence from The American School Board Journal's Learning by Design.
